Anonymous asked: what about riddler aaaaand the joker
Every time I see these two interact, they’re fluctuating between being sort-of friends and sort-of enemies, and surprisingly, that gives us enough basis for a relationship. Not a healthy relationship, mind, because it’s Joker and Joker isn’t really capable of forging healthy relationships, but Eddie’s no doormat. He wouldn’t let Joker get away with anything he wasn’t comfortable with were they ever to enter any sort of (physical, platonic, etc) relationship. Now that I think about it, it isn’t really hard to see how something like their coupling could happen…? Because it’s easy to interpret Joker’s dislike of Eddie’s reformation and as possessiveness, or read some subconscious interest into how Edward altered his appearance in his ‘bishounen Riddler’ run, or mutual respect into Joker actually keeping his word during Hush’s hunt, even when he had what he wanted from Eddie, and they don’t seem to mind getting physical with each other either.
There seems to be plenty to draw from, which is surprising to me, because I never really gave it much thought until now.
So… it’s a good pairing. Good on you.
